Roundtable discussion on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) burden estimation

NDMC organised a roundtable discussion on AMR burden estimation. Prof. Saket Choudhary from IIT Bombay, Prof. Bhaswati Ganguli, Calcutta University and Dr. Kamini Walia, Indian Council of Medical Research presented their research findings on AMR at NDMC and ICMR respectively. A panel of esteemed experts comprising Dr. Anurag Agarwal, Ashoka University; Prof. Gautam Menon, Ashoka University; Dr. Geetha Menon, Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare; Dr. Jacob John,Christian Medical College, Vellore; Dr. Prabhat Chauhan, Consultant, ICMR; Dr. Raman Gangakhedkar, formerly ICMR, Dr. Rizwan SA, ICMR-National Institute of Epidemiology (NIE), Dr. Samit Bhattacharya, Shiv Nadar University; Dr. Sonam Vijay, Consultant, ICMR; Dr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Consultant, ICMR; and Dr. Shankar Prinja, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh; participated in the meeting and provided valuable inputs and suggestions on future prospects.
